Today I headed out on the usual TCC Saturday 40 mile club ride and Sky TV decided they wanted to film us! There must have been over 40 riders in TCC kit in the most beautiful sunshine, amazing weather fo the end of Nov.

I was out with the fast group for a while, but they were ridiculously fast today, I kept looking at my speed down the speed on A316 and it was always nearly 30mph, even the short climbs we were doing 26mph and the fastest speed was 32 on the flat! Having been dropped I helped some of the new riders and ended up at a very busy Fareoaks for coffee.

Several of the riders were interviewed by Sky during the coffee break. It was all quite surreal, sitting out in the sunshine. As we headed out the car filming us was driving next to our group interviewing us on the bikes! Strangely they picked on the only girl in our group for most of the questions.

It was a great ride back and I am looking forward to seeing the footage on the 8th Dec. I bet its described as the MAMILS of Twickenham:)
