Strava is a new website that is making it easy to compare rides with other cyclists. Upload your garmin data to Strava and it works out your time for specific road segments and compares it to other people who have done the same segment.

TCC Hill Climb

We rode out to Crimp Hill near Windsor today to do the annual TCC hill climb. Each rider is set off 1 minute appart and the Hill is just slightly longer than a mile. My time was 4:25 which puts me way down the list of Vets. Still its a hill that doesn’t suit and I am never going to put a good time in.

Sky TV film TCC club ride

Today I headed out on the usual TCC Saturday 40 mile club ride and Sky TV decided they wanted to film us! There must have been over 40 riders in TCC kit in the most beautiful sunshine, amazing weather fo the end of Nov.

Sat Club Ride

Great Saturday club ride today, 8 of us rode in a strong group through and off the whole way. We gained an extra rider at the top of Egham hill. We did over 20mph ave out and 18.6 overall. I didnt do so well on the Egham Hill climb, but according to Strava I am the second fastest climber! The sprints were fun, very tactical.
